Highland Math Services
Highland Math does not directly collect personal information from individuals when providing its services. However, Highland Math’s corporate customers (“Clients”) may provide Highland Math with their own customer files, which may include de-identified personal information (such as hashed email address or mobile advertising device ID). In such cases, we act as the data processing service provider for these Clients. At the direction of the Client, we work with their existing data to help them package, distribute, and segment their data. We do not sell any information provided to us by our Clients. Our Clients may use their own data for interest based online advertising and analytics. Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the contact page on our website, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition, you may:

- Have us delete any data we have about you.

We take precautions to protect your information. when you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for ‘https’ at the beginning of the address of the Web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer server) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
GDPR stands for the General Data Protection Regulation, and is a new European Union law that regulates the personal data of individuals in the European Union. Personal data of individuals is defined as any type of information that identifies or can be linked to an individual. At Highland Math, we serve as a service provider, also known as a “processor”, to our Clients and we work at the direction of our Clients and adhere to the contractual provisions we have with our Clients.
Our Clients with EU end users may be required to comply with GDPR. If they fall under the regulation, these Clients must have a lawful basis for processing data, have in place measures to carry out EU data subjects’ rights requests, and provide adequate data security, among other requirements.
